Preschool Director for award-winning Jewish day school

Beth Tfiloh PreSchool, located in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a full-time PreSchool Director for its award-winning, child-centered program.
Beth Tfiloh PreSchool celebrates and cultivates joy, discovery, and respect in our students. Our curriculum prepares children for Kindergarten by igniting their curiosity and stretching their imaginations through both self-initiated learning and developmentally appropriate teacher-guided activities.
Our warm, nurturing teachers encourage our PreSchool students to engage their intellect, develop linguistic and problem-solving skills, and express themselves as they explore the world around them. Our PreSchoolers discover a love for their Jewish heritage and traditions while building the foundation for a positive lifelong Jewish identity.
The school currently has an enrollment of over 150 children with full day programs for ages two through four and a weekly parent child class for toddlers. The PreSchool Director reports to the Director of Education of Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School, and works collaboratively with a team consisting of an Assistant Director, a PreSchool Registrar, a PreSchool Guidance Counselor, and an Administrative Assistant, as well as the Admissions Director and other senior administrative staff.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees daily operations at the preschool.
Maintains institutional policies and procedures for the preschool operation.
Promotes a positive image of the school to existing and prospective families.
Supervises and evaluates all preschool staff.
Develops and implements appropriate Early Childhood curriculum.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors (or Masters) Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
3-5 years experience in Preschool teaching and administration is preferred
Ability to work with children, parents and colleagues
SALARY: $50,000 - $60,000
